Build a full-scale wooden AK-47 from 315 laser-cut parts with a working safety toggle, a detachable magazine that locks in with one hand, and a rubber-band firing mechanism driven by the trigger. A desk-display model where the bolt, safety, and magazine release all behave like the real platform. ~5-hour build.
 
The build
The detachable magazine is what gives the ROKR AK47 its character — slide it up into the well and it snaps into place with a single hand, the same motion as the real platform. From there, the trigger releases tension stored in the rubber band, the safety toggle blocks the mechanism when engaged, and the bolt assembly aligns through 315 laser-cut wooden parts. Around five hours of assembly, with most of the time spent on the receiver internals where the firing and safety systems converge.
